It is with great sadness that we report the passing of retired Chief Tommy Gaddis. Chief Gaddis was a cornerstone of this community for many years and played a significant role in modernizing the Mountain Grove Police Department.
Chief Gaddis never met a stranger and was a shining example of what a law enforcement officer should be. He served as Police Chief from 1989 until his retirement in 2005, dedicating many years of service to both the department and the citizens of Mountain Grove.
We are grateful for the leadership, dedication, and commitment he gave to this department and to our community. Chief Gaddis will be truly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and serving with him.
Rest in peace, Car 1.
