Mountain Grove, MO. – The Mountain Grove Police Department’s Chief Danny Bledsoe has released an official thank you to the public for providing to what was the largest Shop with a Hero program the department has experienced. This event happened on Thursday, December 18th.
We would like to sincerely thank our community for its generosity and continued support of Shop With A Hero this year. I have had the privilege of participating in this program for the past 28 years, and this year was truly special—it was our largest event to date and the most money we have ever been able to provide to each participant.
This would not have been possible without you. Your generosity made a meaningful difference, and I can confidently say that every donation was put to good use. Seeing the smiles on these children’s faces was a true blessing.
Each child was able to spend $200 on gifts from their wish list, helping make the holidays brighter and more memorable for them and their families.
Once again, thank you for believing in this program and for your continued support. I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you. Let’s make Shop With A Hero 2026 the biggest and best year yet!
