Mountain Home, AR. – A man has been found dead this week in the White River in Baxter County, according to recent reports.
Information has been released by multiple news agencies in the area, who cite the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office in Mountain Home. The victim is identified as Mark Selvocki, 69. Selvocki had been seen in the river either standing or fishing before he was later found unconscious in the water on Monday, April 1st.
Selvocki was taken out of the water and emergency services were called in the noon hour.
While investigations are currently underway, and there is no confirmation of whether the death was accidental, medical, or through drowning, no foul play is expected at this time.
