Mountain View, Mo. – A Mountain View man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Shannon County. According to the Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred at 6:45 a.m. on US 60, a half mile east of Birch Tree.
Wyatt Borgman, 25 of Mountain View, struck the rear of a 2022 Peterbilt 389 Semi driven by Kevin McCoy, 46 of Atoka, Tn. Borgman was pronounced deceased at 7:06 a.m.. by Shannon County Coroner Sam Murphy. Borgman had not been wearing a safety device. McCoy was wearing a safety device and was not injured in the crash.

This makes the 35th highway fatality for MSHP Troop G in 2021, compared with 40 this time last year.
