WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases locally, officials with the Friends of the Garnett Library have decided to cancel the “FRIEND-ly Welcome” event on Thursday, Jan. 13, and the group’s regular monthly meeting on Friday, Jan. 14.
A decision concerning the rescheduling of the welcome event for new Missouri State University-West Plains Chancellor Dennis Lancaster will be announced at a later date.
