Over 40 Aircraft in Attendance at EAA Fly In/Camp Out

Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1218 hosted their Annual Fly-In/Camp-out at the chapter hangar located at the Willow Springs Municipal Airport.  The weather was ideal for a flying and camping event.  Over forty aircraft visited or camped out over the weekend.  Approximately two hundred aviation enthusiasts were in attendance. A dozen youth 8-17 were given a Young Eagle Flight.

A variety of aircraft from across the state were on display.  Also attending were a variety of beautifully restored vintage Stinson Model 108’s.  They were weekending at Gaston’s White River Resort and flew in for our pancake breakfast Saturday.  Their home airports were from as far away as Texas, Oklahoma, and Illinois.  View photos of these beautiful aircraft and more at our Facebook page EAA 1218.
