Rescue One Launches “Summer of Love” Adoption Special to Help Find Forever Homes

Springfield, Mo. — Rescue One is overflowing with furry friends in need of families, and they’re calling on the community to open their hearts and homes. From June 23 through June 29, the Springfield-based animal rescue is hosting its “Summer of Love” Adoption Special, offering reduced adoption fees in an effort to help find forever homes for their many adoptable pets.

As part of the promotion, canine adoption fees are reduced to $50 and feline adoption fees to just $25. All pets are fully vetted and ready to meet their perfect match. The organization emphasizes that its usual adoption screening process will remain in place to ensure each animal is placed in a safe and loving home.

“If you’ve been considering adopting, there’s never been a better time,” Rescue One shared. “We are officially overflowing, and these wonderful animals deserve a second chance.”

In addition to browsing available pets online at rescueonespringfield.com, the public is invited to meet adoptable animals in person during a special adoption event on Sunday, June 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. at 2000 S. Stewart in Springfield.

Volunteers and staff will also be available to discuss fostering, volunteering, and other ways to get involved with the rescue’s mission. Whether you’re ready to adopt, looking to help, or just want to learn more about Rescue One, the event welcomes all.

Rescue One reminds potential adopters: Forever homes only, please.
