Licking, MO. – Two people have been injured, with one requiring Air-Evac services after a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Sunday, August 27th.
This crash occurred on Highway 137, at around one mile South of Licking, MO. The driver in this incident, Deborah Booker, 58 of Bucyrus, was operating a Chevy Trax while travelling Northbound. According to the accident report, the crash occurred when the vehicle began to skid. It went off the left side of the roadway and collided with both a culvert and a tree. The vehicle was totaled in the accident.
Booker sustained minor injuries, but one passenger, Michael Clouse, 39 of Licking, sustained serious injuries which necessitated his transport to Mercy in Springfield for treatment. Neither Booker nor Clouse were wearing their safety device at the time of the crash.
The investigator of this Sunday crash was Trooper R.D. Crewse of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
