Storms Present in the Ozarks Today and Into Tonight

The National Weather Service has released a DSS packet regarding the upcoming storms throughout the Ozarks.

Regarding these storms, the greatest severity is mostly centered around the western parts of the Ozarks. However, there is a 2/5 severity rating for most of our listening area on the storms expected sometime after 10pm tonight, with a low 1/5 risk for those in eastern Oregon and Shannon Counties and beyond.

The primary hazard expected out of this storm formation is damaging wind gusts of up to 60mph, with a small probability of hail and tornadoes.

One thing to keep in mind, however, is that there will be another high risk of severe weather conditions on Wednesday, with risks of all of the above being considerably higher.
