Press Release from Sheriff Jake Smith Fulton County Sheriff:
On October 21, 2025, at about 3pm, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office responded to report
of an unresponsive person in the Eastern part of Fulton County. While checking the home,
two people who were obviously deceased were discovered. The coroner was contacted as
well Arkansas State Police. A search warrant was obtained and State Police began processing the scene. The victims remains have been submitted to the crime lab for autopsy and positive identification.
Investigators with Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police, 16th Judicial, 3rd
Judicial, and 14th Judicial Drug Task Force have been checking leads throughout the North
central part of the state. Details around the case cannot be released at this time.
There has been no evidence to suggest that the public is any greater danger.
