Tommy “Greatle” Parrott, 94, of Alton, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 14, 1931, to Tommy and Jennie (Evans) Nivens.
On October 5, 1951, in Salem, Arkansas, Greatle married the love of her life, Dorris Lee Parrott. From this union, they were blessed with one son, Tommy Parrott.
Greatle worked as a beautician for many years and was a longtime member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Hickory Grove while it was open. She had a deep love for flowers—growing them, arranging them, and filling her home with their beauty. She also enjoyed gardening and, in later years, found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorris Lee Parrott; her parents, Tommy and Jennie Nivens; and twelve half-siblings.
She is survived by her son, Tommy Parrott, and his wife Linda; her grandchildren, Nicholas Parrott and Sue Ann Dozier (husband Brandon); and her great-grandchildren, Bryden Parrott, Cypriss Parrott, and Benjamin Dozier.
Greatle will be remembered for her warmth, love of family, and the beauty she brought to the world—both through her flowers and her kind heart.

Officiating will be Reverend Johnny Floyd Holesapple and singing will be by his wife, Marie Holesapple.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel of Thayer, Missouri, followed by the Funeral at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be at the Hickory Grove Cemetery of Alton, Missouri on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
