Two Douglas County Residents Arrested on Drug Charges

Douglas County Deputies responded to a black SUV obstructing County Road P321 and found it unlocked, containing valuables and narcotics. The 2003 Honda, registered to Jeffery Collins of Nixa, Missouri, was towed. A search revealed methamphetamine, LSD, and paraphernalia labeled “The Plug,” along with a notebook linking the items to Mackathion Collins and Heather Flores of Ava.

Collins, on probation and residing at 2966 Private Drive 3275, later reported the vehicle missing and admitted to driving it. A search warrant was executed at his residence, yielding more methamphetamine, digital scales, and a firearm—illegal due to Collins’s felony status.
