Two Mountain Home Students In Law Enforcement Custody After Online Threats

Mountain Home, AR. – Two students from Mountain Home are currently in the custody of local law enforcement in the Mountain Home area, after they each made threats to the safety of the school.

The first juvenile, a middle-school student, was reported to have made a hit list. They then also shared both the list and a picture of a rifle.

The second juvenile posted a picture on social media of himself wielding a pair of guns; a caption on the picture reading “School ready”.

Mountain Home Police Departments responded quickly to both incidents, and the Superintendent, Jake Long, addressed both in a press release that was issued over the weekend.
