On July 8, 2025, deputies with the Shannon County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop near Winona, Missouri. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 10 grams of psilocybin and 247.2 grams of marijuana.
The occupants of the vehicle, Alisha May of Dalton, Massachusetts, and Leslie Houts of Floyd, Virginia, were arrested and incarcerated at the Shannon County Jail. Houts has been charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a Class C Felony, and is being held on a $10,000 cash-only bond. May has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class D Felony, and is being held on a $5,000 cash-only bond.
