Two Vehicle Crash Injures 4 Near West Plains Friday Evening

West Plains, MO. – A two vehicle crash near West Plains injures four people Friday evening. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred five miles south of West Plains on Highway 63 at 6:10 p.m.

A southbound 2006 Ford Explorer driven by Mark Robinson, age 53 of Viola, Ar., had slowed for another vehicle to turn and was struck in the rear by a 2016 Kia Sorento driven by Taylor Rainwater, age 24 of Cherokee Village, Ar.

Robinson was uninjured in the crash but two of his passengers, Ronnie and Linda Andrews, both 74 of Thayer, suffered moderate injuries. Rainwater suffered moderate injuries and her 4-year old female passenger had minor injuries. All four injured were taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.

Everyone involved in the accident had been wearing their safety devices.
