Vehicle Pursuit Ends on Highway 76 Friday Morning

If you’re traveling on State Route 76 West of Willow Springs this morning you may notice a large law enforcement presence. Multiple agencies were just involved in a vehicle pursuit that ended on State Route 76 near County Road 5710.

 

The pursuit was initiated by a Mountain View Officer with Howell County Sheriff’s Office deputies assisting. A Willow Springs Police Officer deployed spike strips in an attempt to to the pursuit The pursuit ended when the suspect vehicle failed to negotiate a turn in the road, ran off the road and crashed.

 

Once again, solid communication and coordination amongst agencies has brought a dangerous situation to an end. Great work by all!
