Marion County, AR. – For the week ending June 20, deputies with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to a total of 85 calls for service.
Among those calls, deputies conducted five wellness checks and responded to two domestic disturbances. Law enforcement efforts led to four misdemeanor arrests and two felony arrests throughout the week.
Deputies also responded to or assisted with two motor vehicle accidents and completed a total of 24 incident reports. No bailiff hours were reported during this period.
In a continued effort to enhance departmental training and readiness, two deputies completed a 40-hour Instructor Development course at the Baxter County Training Facility, furthering their skills and qualifications.
The Investigations Division reported the opening of one new felony investigation and conducted nine interviews related to ongoing cases. In addition, investigators completed one investigative conference as part of case development and coordination efforts.
At the Detention Center, a total of nine individuals were booked and nine were released, ending the week with 47 inmates in custody.
