On December 2, 2024, members of the Josiah Howell SAR Chapter and Ozark Spring DAR Chapter met with employees of West Plains Bank to receive their charitable contribution of $170 which will help purchase 10 wreaths to be placed at Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Mtn View, Missouri. The second annual Wreaths Across America Event will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at t 10:30 a.m.(CST), Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1019 E. 3rd St., Mtn. View, Missouri to “Remember – Honor – Teach” about our local veterans buried there. The public is welcome to accompany the wreaths that will be escorted from the VFW Post 3009, Mtn. View prior to the Cemetery by the Mtn. View City Police and Fire Departments.
