West Plains Fire & Rescue is proud to recognize Firefighter Dalton Pauly and Engineer Jacob Barks for their outstanding achievement in completing the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course through South Howell County Ambulance. This intensive five-month program included the successful completion of the National Institute of Emergency Medical Technicians (NIEMT) practical skills assessment, which required hands-on expertise, 24 clinical hours, and at least 10 patient contacts.
While both Pauly and Barks still need to pass the National Registry EMT (NREMT) written exam to receive certification beyond Missouri, their accomplishment reflects a deep commitment to professional excellence and community service. Their hard work and dedication exemplify the values of West Plains Fire & Rescue, and the department is honored to have them as part of the team.
Congratulations to Firefighter Pauly and Engineer Barks on reaching this important milestone in their careers.
