A West Plains man was arrested after a confrontation involving a firearm on December 21st. Authorities report that Keegan Todd, 29, pointed a black H&K 9mm pistol at a victim while the victim was seated in his vehicle. The incident occurred in Howell County, Missouri.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers arrested Todd and conducted a search. During the search, brass knuckles were found in Todd’s right rear pocket. Todd later explained in an interview that he had the brass knuckles with him because he feared the victim, stating, “I got a feeling this dude is going to get out and try to fight me, there’s two of them, there’s too of them, that’s why I have the knuckles in my pocket too.”
The victim, who was threatened by the sight of the firearm, was placed in immediate apprehension of physical injury. The victim expressed his desire to pursue charges against Todd.
Todd was taken into custody and is facing charges of Unlawful use of a Weapon.
