West Plains, MO – Book lovers across the Ozarks region can look forward to the upcoming Spring Book Sale hosted by the Friends of the West Plains Public Library. The much-anticipated event will kick off on Thursday, May 8, and run through Saturday, May 10, with a special bag sale scheduled for Monday, May 12.
The event will begin with an exclusive early shopping opportunity on Thursday, May 8, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for members of the Friends of the Library. Non-members who wish to attend the early sale can join the Friends group at the door for a $10 membership fee.
The public portion of the sale will be held:

Friday, May 9 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Saturday, May 10 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
To close out the event, a Bag Sale will take place on Monday, May 12, beginning at 9 a.m., where shoppers can fill a bag with any remaining items for one low price.
The sale will be held at the West Plains Public Library, offering gently used books and materials for all ages at unbeatable prices. Proceeds from the sale go toward supporting library programs, events, and special initiatives throughout the year.
