The West Plains R-VII School District Board of Education will hold its next regular meeting on Tuesday, June 24, at 5:00 p.m. in the West Plains High School Library.
The meeting will open with standard agenda items, including roll call, agenda approval, and a closed executive session to discuss legal, personnel, student, real estate, and security matters in accordance with Missouri law.
At 5:30 p.m., the board will reconvene in open session. While no student or staff spotlight is scheduled this month, the agenda includes a full consent docket. Key actions will include personnel updates, designation of various district coordinators, and approval of multiple agreements and plans for the upcoming school year, such as the Missouri Head Start MOU, the “Tooth Truck, Inc.” partnership, and the 2025-2026 Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) Plan.
Also on the agenda is final approval of the district’s 2025-2026 budget, a second reading of updated Missouri School Boards’ Association (MSBA) policies, and revisions to the Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) through 2030.
In new business, the board will consider the declaration of surplus property and set meal pricing for the 2025-2026 academic year.
