The community is invited to come together to help make a new holiday tradition possible by supporting the Willow Springs Community Christmas Tree Fund, a project designed to
bring a festive and lasting centerpiece to downtown Willow Springs.
Organizers are working to raise $15,000 to purchase a commercial-grade, reusable pre-lit
Christmas tree that will serve as the focal point for an annual downtown lighting ceremony.
This permanent tree will allow Willow Springs to host a festive holiday event comparable to
other surrounding communities while creating a meaningful tradition for local families and
visitors. “This is a project that truly belongs to the entire community,” organizers said. “We want Willow Springs to have a beautiful, professional-quality Christmas tree and lighting ceremony thateveryone can be proud of. But we cannot do this alone — it will take citizens, businesses, churches, civic groups, and organizations all working together.”
The Christmas tree will be a long-term investment that can be reused year after year, making it a sustainable and cost-effective way to build a lasting holiday tradition in downtown Willow Springs.
