SUMMERSVILLE, Mo. — A Mountain View woman suffered moderate injuries Wednesday afternoon following a two-vehicle accident near Summersville.
A report from the Highway Patrol states the accident happened at 3 pm on Route 17 north of Highway WW when 83-year-old Barbara Pittman of Mountain View had a medical issue. That incident caused her to travel into the oncoming lane and hit a pick-up truck driven by 43-year-old Scot Shockley of Summersville.

Pittman was flown to a regional hospital by helicopter.
