Hartville, MO. – The Wright County Sheriff’s Office has received a Blue Shield designation, making it the fourth county in the primary listening area to receive this recognition.
This Blue Shield designation was created through the efforts of Governor Mike Kehoe and his Executive Order 25-03. To apply for designation, an agency has to show that they’ve made significant efforts to reduce crime and foster strong community relationships.
Agencies that earn this designation will be eligible for a sizable grants, potentially bringing in high dollar amounts to local communities.
