Yellville, AR – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of Shawn D. Eaton, a 28-year-old resident of Yellville, on charges of Indecent Exposure and Public Sexual Indecency, both classified as Class A Misdemeanors.
According to a press release issued by Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander, Eaton was taken into custody on May 5, 2025, following an investigation into an incident reported on April 2, 2025. The investigation began after a minor female victim reported that she had given Eaton a ride in her vehicle. During the ride, while seated in the rear seat, Eaton allegedly engaged in deviant sexual activity.
Eaton was booked into the Marion County Detention Center, with his bond set at $1,000.
