Clyde Edward Krattley, 79, of Mountain View, Missouri, was born on January 2, 1946, to George R. and Oma (Williams) Krattley. He was the youngest of two siblings, Pauline and Willie “Joe.” Clyde passed away on November 13, 2025.
Clyde is survived by two nieces, Linda (Jerry) Fisher, of Mountain View. View, MO, and Judy (Boyd) Thomure, of San Leon, TX; one nephew, Bruce Crouch, of Kentucky; 10 great-nieces and nephews; 17 great-great nieces and nephews; and 15 great-great-great nieces and nephews.
Clyde is preceded in death by his parents; one brother; one sister; and one niece, Pam.
He lived in Springfield, Missouri most of his life with his brother, Joe. After Joe’s passing in 2017, he moved to Mountain View, MO with his niece, Linda. He eventually moved into Mountain View Healthcare. Clyde was a man of very few words; he loved his soda pop and mini candy bars. He will be missed by the ones who knew and loved him. Thank you, Mountain View Healthcare; his “best friend” Stephanie; his favorite great niece, Betty; Peggy and west side girls, Leann, Leslie, and all the others who cared for him.
Per his wishes, he asked to be cremated and no services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
