Joy Kathleen ‘Kathy’ Young, 86, passed away on May 28th, 2025 in West Plains, Missouri at Ozark Medical Hospital with loved ones by her side.
She was the daughter of Leonard and Georgia McKenzie Coldwater, Kansas.

Joy is survived by her son, Eddie Young; her daughter, Patty (Smith) Young, grandchildren; Cameron Smith (Cassidi) Makenzie Smith (Austin Row), Greg Osenbaugh (Serena), Amanda (Jaime) Garcia and her sister; Susie Burd.
A celebration of life will be held at Smith Chapel, Zanoni, MO on July 5t; further details at a later date.
