Lona Lafern Webster, 91-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Friday, May 2, 2025. She was born January 22, 1934, in Charleston, MO, to the late Bernie and Odie (Bunch) Mix.
Lona was a member of West Point United Pentecostal Church and loved listening to gospel music.
On July 22, 1998, she married Glendell Webster in Success, AR. He proceeded her in death on June 21, 1990. In addition to her parents and husband, Lona was preceded by a daughter, Janet Cline; sister, Lorene Mix; and brothers, Hubert Mix, Royce Mix, and Ireland Lamb
Surviving are her children, Terry (Lisa) Rapien of Graycliff, MT, Jim (Jamie) Rapien of Van Buren, MO, and Gary Rapien of Naylor, MO; son-in-law, Kenny Cline; ex-daughter-in-law, Betty Sue Rapien; grandchildren, Tonya, Eric, Tina, Rebecca, Kyle, Tasha, Alisha, Gary, James, Joey, James III, Andrew, Chloe, Austin, Chelsea, and Carly; and many great-great and great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, beginning at noon with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Bro Chuck Carr will be officiating, and burial will be in Hitt Cemetery.
