Mildred “Eileen” Minshall departed this life on January 23, 2026, at OHC West Plains. She was born on November 26, 1938, near Cabool, Missouri, the daughter of Fred and Nellie (Davis) Smith.
Eileen was of the Baptist faith saved in 1955 and was a faithful member of Maness Memorial Baptist Church for many years. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and was known for being full of life, spunky, and always dressed to impress. You would never find her without a big, sparkly pair of earrings.
Eileen loved springtime for many reasons, but especially because it meant it was time to find a good yard sale. She had a strong love for traveling and being on the go and often shared the wise advice, “Do it while you are young.” She enjoyed sharing her life adventures and stories with her friends and family, bringing joy and laughter wherever she went.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather; her sisters, Glenna, Jesse, Wilma, Edna, Beverly and Barb; her brother, Chuck; and her beloved daughters, Anita and Shannon Minshall. She is survived by her sisters Carolyn Middleton, Frieda Johnson, and Gail; her loving children Rick Smith, Kim Rhoads and husband Richard Rhoads, and Scott Minshall and wife Heather; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
