Sharon Angeline Lyons

Sharon Angeline Lyons, 79, of Theodosia, Missouri, passed away on June 4, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, surrounded by the love and presence of her family. She was 79 years, 9 months, and 21 days old. 

Sharon was born on August 3, 1945, in Rueter, Missouri to William Howard and Dorothy Jane (Jenkins) Robertson.

A woman of deep and enduring faith, Sharon was a devoted Christian and attended True Hope General Baptist Church in Theodosia. Her love for the Lord was evident in how she lived her life – faithfully, generously, and with a quiet strength that shaped the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and everyone blessed to know her. That legacy of trust in God will live on for generations. 

She and her spouse Patrick Lyons, shared 30 years together. 

Sharon worked at Century Bank of the Ozarks in Theodosia, Missouri for many years until her retirement in 2007. Through her longtime role at the bank, she became a familiar and cherished presence in the community. Many will remember her as the kind, welcoming face who greeted them with a smile and genuine care. Her warmth, reliability, and gracious spirit left a lasting impact on countless customers and neighbors over the years. 

Sharon found joy in the simple, beautiful things in life. She loved being outdoors, tending to her yard and garden. She loved her flowers and trees. She enjoyed cooking and cherished time spent with her family. One of her greatest joys was staying connected with her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. 

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, William Howard Robertson and Dorothy Jane (Jenkins) Robertson; her sister, Betty Marrs, her brother, Rex Robertson; her daughter, Angie Harley; and her spouse, Patrick Lyons.

Sharon is survived by her daughters, Crissy (Michael) Jennings and Missy Jennings; seven grandchildren, Cassie Wallace, Gavin Jennings, Ashley Leake, Zachariah Jennings, Emily Linenbrink, Dylan Jennings, and Jacob Jennings; two great-grandchildren, Carter Wallace and Millay Jennings; sisters, Marilyn Wallace and Jan Robertson; and many other relatives and friends. 

Sharon will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Though she has left this world, the love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the faith she lived out will continue to live on through her family and loved ones.             

Funeral services for Sharon will be Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, Missouri.  Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 AM to service time. Burial will be in the Lutie Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn. Memorials may be made to Lutie Cemetery.
