Terry Gene Turner

Terry Turner was born in Yerington, Nevada, on June 5, 1953, to Dale and Jean (Northcutt) Turner. He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on April 3, 2026.

He married Becky Blankenship on December 30, 1986, and together they were blessed with two daughters, Courtney and Amanda. Terry loved his family deeply and lived his life centered around them.

Terry graduated from the University of Missouri and went on to build a life centered on hard work and family. He worked at Tyson Foods for many years before pursuing his dream of working full-time raising cattle and enjoying the life they built as a family. He was a Christian and a member of First Baptist Church of Mountain View, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Jean Turner; his brother, Truman Turner; his father and mother-in-law, Clifford and Miriam Blankenship; brothers-in-law, David Blankenship, Stephen Blankenship, William Blankenship, and James Blankenship; and many other loved ones.
Terry is survived by his wife, Becky; his daughters, Courtney Shultz and her husband, Jeremy, and Amanda Chinn and her husband, Calvin; sisters-in-law; aunts; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was known as a man who was always willing to lend a hand to others. He had a strong work ethic, a generous spirit, and a sense of humor that those around him will always remember.
