Born into Heaven on April 23, 2026, our sweet daughter, Willa Barrett Brunson, was cradled in God’s arms before she could be cradled in ours. She is deeply loved by her parents, Jodi and Shawn, and her family who will hold her memory close until we are reunited in eternity.
Willa is survived by her parents, Shawn and Jodi Brunson, of West Plains, Missouri; many older siblings who would have been profoundly blessed by her presence in their lives. Magdalene, Augie, Simon, Finn, and Gideon are the siblings remaining at home who spent countless hours helping to name Willa, plan her room, and fill her closet with beautiful pink clothes; her paternal grandparents, Gaylon Brunson, Little Rock, Arkansas and Terry Rainier, West Plains, Missouri; and her maternal grandparents, Danny and Linda Flageolle, Cabool, Missouri.
A private burial will be at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
