Larry Dale Rollins, 85, of Bucyrus passed away on April 23, 2026. He was born in Alton, IL to Arch and Martha Rollins on July 13, 1940.
He graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign in 1965, with a Doctorate Degree in Veterinary Medicine. Larry served as an Officer in the Army for two years. He was employed by the USDA in animal research for 30 years in Washington DC. Larry retired from USDA and built a log home in rural Bucyrus, MO, where he enjoyed restoring tractors and raising cattle.

Larry is survived by his twin sister, Linda Smith of Casey, IL; niece, Cindy Clark (Mike) of Paris, IL; and two nephews, Tim Smith (Barbara) of Marion, IL and Steven Smith (Eliza) of Westfield, IL.
