The St. Louis Cardinals scored twice in the top of the 12th inning during a 7-6 win over the Miami Marlins at Loan Depot Park. Bryan De La Cruz hit a three-run game-tying home run in the bottom of the eighth to send the game to extras, but Masyn Winn went deep with a two-run shot in the 12th to put St. Louis up for good. Dylan Carlson protected the lead when he threw a runner out at the plate trying to score the tying run from third on a shallow fly ball. Michael Siani also homered in the victory, while Andrew Kittredge earned his first win. The Cards have won five of six and are in second place in the NL Central at 36-and-35. Lance Lynn starts for St. Louis against Miami tonight.
