Winona senior Lexi Lindsey etched her name into the record books last week, becoming the first player in MSHSAA history to reach 4,000 career assists. The milestone adds another highlight to an already stellar season for the Lady Wildcats, who are the defending Class 1 state champions. Winona’s record this year 32-4. District tournaments start tonight across the state in volleyball.

The West Plains Lady Zizzer Tennis Team is hosting a unique and fun way to raise funds with a Pickleball Tournament set for Thursday, October 23rd. The tournament will be doubles only, with a $20 entry fee per team, and it’s open to all skill levels. But this isn’t just about competition participants are encouraged to wear costumes, with prizes awarded for the best dressed teams. Registration kicks off at 5:30 PM at the West Plains Zizzer Tennis Courts. All proceeds go to support the Lady Zizzer tennis program.
