The West Plains Zizzer Cross Country Teams competed for State tittle over the weekend in Columbia. The Zizzers boys are back to back state champions and the Lady Zizzers took second place.
Winona Lady Wildcats made their 16th trip to the final four in girls volleyball over the weekend and looking for back to back state championships. Lady Wildcats have won 6 state championships and 4 second place finishes, 2 third place finishes and 4 fourth place finishes before this weekend play started. The Lady Wildcats took second place as Bismarck defeated in the championship game Winona, 3 – 2 (17 – 25, 13 – 25, 27 – 25, 25 – 14, 15 – 10).

The West Plains Lady Zizzer basketball team will compete in the Blue Fish Shootout at Rolla high school on Friday Nov 21st at 4pm. The Lady Zizzers will take on Tipton.
