Mariners 4, Cardinals 2

The Cardinals dropped back below .500 with a 4-2 loss to the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park. The Cardinals led by two entering the sixth before surrendering four runs in the inning. Alec Burleson hit a two-run homer in the losing effort, while Gordon Graceffo was charged with his first loss in relief.

Graceffo came on with two runners on in the sixth for Miles Mikolas, who had thrown five scoreless innings, but ran into trouble in the sixth.

St. Louis remains in fourth place in the NL Central at 72-and-73. The Cardinals send Matthew Liberatore to the mound against the Mariners tonight.
