Falcons Ride Robinson’s 170 Rushing Yards to 24-14 win Over Bills
Bijan Robinson matched a career high with 170 rushing yards and gave Atlanta an early two-touchdown lead with the NFL’s longest run of the season, and the Falcons denied Josh Allen’s comeback attempt to beat the Buffalo Bills 24-14 on Monday Night Football.
Robinson’s career-long 81-yard touchdown run in the second quarter put Atlanta (3-2) ahead 21-7.
Robinson got his 170 yards on 19 carries. He added six catches for 68 yards for a career-best 238 yards from scrimmage. M
For Robinson’s big game to come against Allen, last season’s MVP, was meaningful because he paid the same compliment to the Bills quarterback.
Allen threw two touchdown passes, including a 16-yarder to Ray Davis to open the second half.
Last-Second FG Lifts the Bears Past the Commanders 25-24
The Chicago Bears edged out the Washington Commanders 25–24, thanks to a 38-yard field goal by Jake Moody as time expired.
Bears quarterback Caleb Williams led the final drive, finishing with 252 yards through the air and one touchdown.
The Commanders (3–3 record) had a chance to take control of their division but were undone by turnover issues and came up short.
A year ago, Washington beat Chicago on a dramatic “Hail Mary” play. But this time, there was no repeat of that magic.
