This past Saturday afternoon Ava hosted Lamar in the class 2 state quarter finals, Ava played hard but in the end it was Lamar with the win 35-14. Lamar will face Richmond Saturday at 1pm in the class 2 Semifinals.
In class 1 Thayer hosted Windsor and the Bobcats took care of business 30-22 and ended a 28-game winning streak Windsor had possessed. The Thayer Bobcats will be at East Buchanan in the class 1 semifinals Saturday at 1pm.
West Plains Zizzers Played Friday night at Hannibal and came up short 35-26.
