Jake Oettinger [[ AHT-ihn-juhr ]] made 25 saves in net to lead the Dallas Stars to a 1-0 shutout victory over the visiting St. Louis Blues in the regular season finale at the American Airlines Center. Dallas rookie Wyatt Johnston scored his 24th goal of the season early in the third period for the game’s lone score.
St. Louis goalie Jordan Binnington made 33 saves in the losing effort. The Blues end the season sixth in the Central Division with 81 points and will miss the postseason for the first time since 2018. Its also the Blues first losing season since 2007-08
