The West Plains Zizzers played host to the Branson Pirates for Homecoming at Zizzer Stadium. West Plains was able to move the ball up and down the field but a fumble and a interception ended two of the drives and lead to 14 Branson points. The Zizzers trailed 14-7 at halftime.
Branson received the second half kick and marched down the field to go up 21-7. The Pirates held West Plains to a punt and went down to score another touchdown to go up 28-7 at the end of the third.
Zizzers scored a touchdown to pull within 14 and recovered an onside kick but could not capitalize. Branson added another 4th quarter touchdown late to go up 35-14. West Plains scored a late touchdown on a long pass from Miller to Hale to make the score 35-21 which is the final score.
Branson controlled the clock all night as Branson only attempted one pass all night and kept the ball for the majority of the game.
West Plains falls to 2-2 on the season and will travel to Logan-Rogersville next Friday night.
