Game started off with willow going strong and Seymour retaliating with fouls. Seymour took a timeout to try and get focused on the game. Seymour answered back with some 3-pointers and more buckets, but Willow just kept coming. Willow got into some foul trouble, causing Seymour to go to the line many times which kept the game close. It remains close with lots of back and forth action at the end of the 1st quarter with Willow on top 13-12. 2nd quarter started off with quick scoring from both teams. Not a lot of defensive action from either team, making this game very close. Seymour started to bring out that defensive pressure, getting rebounds and steals, causing them to take the lead over Willow. But the bears pump up the intensity at the end of the 2nd quarter winning back some points, making the halftime score 32-30 with Seymour holding the lead.
Seymour opened the second half with lots of momentum, and the bears looked like they were struggling. Not a lot of scoring, but lots of chaotic action. Both teams had consecutive stops and turnovers, but Seymour and Willow were having trouble scoring. The low-scoring continued to the end of the third quarter with Seymour keeping the lead 42-37. Willow comes out in the 4th quarter with some drive. Big shots were made to give Willow the lead for the first time since the 1st quarter, but the game still remained close. Willow comes out with a big win over Seymour 54-49.
