Mountain Grove, MO. – An 81-year-old Mountain Grove man was inflicted with fatal injuries in a crash where multiple objects were struck, and the vehicle caught fire.
The date and time of this crash was reported as 2:20pm on the day of Tuesday, February 7th. Willie Craig was the driver of a 2016 Kia Soul who was travelling Eastbound along Route ZZ, five miles West of Mountain Grove.
Craig travelled off the right side of the roadway and went airborne before striking a fence and multiple trees, only to then overturn. The vehicle additionally caught fire as a result of the crash.
Wright County Coroner Ben Hurtt pronounced Craig deceased at 2:20pm.
This accident was investigated by Trooper T.L. Sullivan of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
