Thayer, MO. – The city of Thayer is currently under a city-wide boil advisory due to a main break that occurred last night.
According to a recent post from the City of Thayer social media page, both a water main break happened and an electric pole was lost during flood conditions; and electric, water, & street departments, as well as the local PD worked since last night and into the morning daylight to resolve both issues.

A time frame for the length of the boil advisory has not been issued, and it is currently not known how long it will take to have enough water pressure within the system to be able to test the supply.
