From West Plains High School:
Congratulations to Edson Ford and Camden Roberts on being selected for the Missouri All-State Choir!
This is one of the most prestigious honors a high school vocalist can achieve, and we couldn’t be prouder! The rigorous audition process includes several rounds featuring a classical solo, sight reading, and a quartet performance. Scores from each round are combined, and only the top six singers from each voice part in the South Central District earn a spot.
Students in our district compete against schools of all sizes, making this accomplishment even more impressive. Edson and Camden will represent West Plains at the Missouri Music Educators Association Conference in January, where they’ll perform as part of the All-State Choir.
