The Baxter Health Cline Emergency Center has been awarded the prestigious Diamond recognition by the Arkansas Department of Health for its exceptional stroke care, based on performance data from July 2023 through June 2024. The award reflects the center’s adherence to 95% or greater compliance with key stroke treatment standards tracked by the Arkansas Stroke Registry.
The Diamond Award is the highest level of recognition in the department’s annual stroke care awards, honoring hospitals that deliver defect-free care, maintain accurate stroke band documentation, and meet critical time benchmarks like rapid door-to-CT scans. These measures are aligned with American Heart Association and American Stroke Association (AHA/ASA) Coverdell metrics, which aim to ensure that stroke patients receive fast, appropriate, and effective treatment.
Eligibility for the award is limited to hospitals that are designated by the Arkansas Department of Health or hold a national accreditation in stroke care. The achievement highlights the skill and dedication of the Cline Emergency Center’s medical team in delivering top-tier emergency stroke services.
