Two Ava residents were injured when the Honda motorcycle they were riding struck a deer. The accident happened five miles north of Gainesville on highway 5.
The 51-year-old male driver suffered minor injuries, his 24-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash report. They were transported to Baxter Regional Hospital in Mountain Home treatment.
