The Ozarks Integrated Warning Team (IWT) Steering Committee met this week and shared key upcoming dates and opportunities for involvement in regional weather preparedness efforts.
The Annual IWT Workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the location still to be determined. The committee is currently seeking suggestions for agenda topics, themes, and potential presenters. Weather-related ideas of all kinds are welcome, and input from a variety of perspectives—beyond just the National Weather Service—is encouraged.
Additionally, the IWT has scheduled a meeting in Branson, Missouri, on December 8, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., during the Four Corners Emergency Management Conference. More details will be shared as the date approaches.
