Mountain Grove, MO. – A Mountain Grove resident was arrested this past Saturday when when she struck law enforcement in a druken state.
According to the probable cause statement on the arrest, this began when officers arrived at a residents on Coke Road during the 9pm hour for a call of a suspicious person in someone’s yard.

When officers arrived, Carissa Black, born 1995, was found in an intoxicated state. When being held in a patrol vehicle while investigation was underway, Black had kicked the vehicle and officers multiple times.
A portable breath test was used, and showed Black to have a blood-alcohol level of 0.195.
Black faces two charges of 3rd degree assault of a special victim as a result of this event.
